Induction hardened and Precision Steel Linear Shafts for linear motion applications are available in ready stock. Linear shafts are sourced from manufacturers working on extremely close tolerances for surface finish, roundness, hardness and straightness to provide long service life with reduced maintenance. Shafts are induction hardened to HRC 60-62 and are available as solid shafts, tubular shafts made from heat-treated steel, corrosion-resistant steel or hard chrome plated steel.
